Qualica-RD R&D
We are manufacturers specialized in access control systems, automatic identification, and card personalization. From our facilities in Seville, we design, develop, and manufacture our own high-tech solutions that integrate hardware, software, and custom electronics. We do not distribute: we manufacture. This allows us to control every stage of the product, from circuit design to final installation, offering our clients personalized technology without reliance on third parties.

Our high-tech developments in access control
We do not assemble off-the-shelf parts. Each Qualica-RD solution originates from an internal R&D process that encompasses electronic design, firmware, management software, and mechanical manufacturing. This allows us to create products that do not exist in the market: turnstiles with integrated biometric readers, rugged terminals with state-of-the-art CPUs, time and attendance systems with offline facial recognition, or PMR kiosks with artificial intelligence.
Our technology is present in airports, bus stations, correctional facilities, factories, universities, and large-scale events. Each business vertical receives a specific approach: controlling access at a festival is not the same as at a nuclear power plant. This sector specialization is what sets us apart from generalist manufacturers.
We actively collaborate with integrators, engineering firms, and public administrations to develop turnkey solutions. From the initial concept to production deployment, our team of electronic engineers, software developers, and manufacturing specialists accompany each project with the precision demanded by high technology.

We are a multidisciplinary team of electronic engineers, software developers, mechanical manufacturing specialists, and field technicians. We share an obsession: to create access control technology that others say cannot be manufactured in Spain. Every product that leaves our facilities carries hundreds of hours of design, testing, and validation before it reaches the client’s hands.

Francisco Javier Gómez
CEO and co-founder of Qualica-RD. Electronic engineer with over 15 years of experience designing access control hardware, turnstiles, and biometric terminals. He leads the R&D and manufacturing laboratory, overseeing each product from concept to production.
